Also he doesn't seem to be able to make changes on the pilot liveries. It seems that the model viewer won't let him save.

That has nothing to do with the Model Viewer,
Its an issue of the pilot model name being different, i think when the modelviewer gets fixed, it should work

I have 600GB in skins in my Saved Games. 200GB of that is probably made by myself.

What should one wonder. With each update of ED fix 5 bugs and create 3 new ones. it is clearly the MV. With all models, you are no longer able to create the process for a liveries description information. I created the description.lua that you need with the DCS World viewer, not with the beta

j-11a.lua 6.36 kB · 0 downloads

I appreciate that, but i need the AGM-65D, AGM-65H, and the HARMs...

But, what youre saying is, the Stable Model Viewer works?

Im unable to re-produce this on OB or Stable MV,

J11 Opens and Generate Button generates fine.

Do you get a File Save Dialog when you click the button or is it an instant crash as soon as button is clicked,

Judging by log, if no dialog pops up, it looks like an error w/ the QT Platform files/dlls.

Might want to try a repair to restore or clean those files.

J-11 appears to be one of the models that is generating a description.lua

So is the A-10CII and a few others.

The Ka-50 is crashing MV2 as soon as you hit the generate button along with a lot of other models.

I haven’t gone through all of them obviously but if seems random.

Deleting the trunk folders didn’t work either.

I have the same problem, since the last update when trying to create any LUA from the Model Viewer the application crashes and closes.

Yep having exactly the same problem as described in op. Tried Urbis autoexec.lua but still no joy. Was hoping to have a go at a livery for the mossie competition recently announced. I'm not willing to install stable just to get the model viewer though so guess its tough luck 😡
