Wyvern Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 As I said in the Title, whenever i open a model in Model Viewer and try to generate a Livery file, the model viewer just decides to crash. I have not much more info, the last log is attached below. model_viewer2.log I have 600GB in skins in my Saved Games. 200GB of that is probably made by myself. Wyvern Posted February 20, 2023 Author Posted February 20, 2023 basically what i did here was: -open the J-11A model -click "generate livery file" Then it crashed Note: The Modelviewer crashes whenever i hit "generate livery file", regardless which model is open I have 600GB in skins in my Saved Games. 200GB of that is probably made by myself. PLAAF Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 Also he doesn't seem to be able to make changes on the pilot liveries. It seems that the model viewer won't let him save. My Adorable Communist Errand Girls Led by me, the Communist Errand Panda

That has nothing to do with the Model Viewer, Its an issue of the pilot model name being different, i think when the modelviewer gets fixed, it should work I have 600GB in skins in my Saved Games. 200GB of that is probably made by myself. With all models, you are no longer able to create the process for a liveries description information. I created the description.lua that you need with the DCS World viewer, not with the beta j-11a.lua 6.36 kB · 0 downloads I appreciate that, but i need the AGM-65D, AGM-65H, and the HARMs... But, what youre saying is, the Stable Model Viewer works? I have 600GB in skins in my Saved Games. 200GB of that is probably made by myself. SkateZilla Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 Im unable to re-produce this on OB or Stable MV, J11 Opens and Generate Button generates fine. Do you get a File Save Dialog when you click the button or is it an instant crash as soon as button is clicked, Judging by log, if no dialog pops up, it looks like an error w/ the QT Platform files/dlls. Might want to try a repair to restore or clean those files. The Ka-50 is crashing MV2 as soon as you hit the generate button along with a lot of other models. I haven’t gone through all of them obviously but if seems random. Deleting the trunk folders didn’t work either. Send lawyers, guns and money......... for the …. has hit the fan. Iceviper Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Yep having exactly the same problem as described in op. Tried Urbis autoexec.lua but still no joy. Was hoping to have a go at a livery for the mossie competition recently announced. I'm not willing to install stable just to get the model viewer though so guess its tough luck
