DishDoggie Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 NOTE*** I am just a person that can do very little when it comes to understanding HOW,WHY things happen in DCS. Kind of a can do some things but master of none and wing it most of the time. I downloaded some of the planes for this OLD Mod. I thought I would like to see more CIVIL aircraft in some of my Single Player Missions. I just wanted to see them at the Airports. BUT in a new Mission on the South Atlantic Map I put them on a Base/Airport then set them up to AI takeoff 1 at a time @ mission Start just for fun. WHAT HAPPENED: After I ran the mission the first time I was jumping to external cameras to see things in my mission and I started seeing The Civil Aircraft Mod aircraft spawning from Airports I never placed them on taking off and flying to and landing on other Airports in the South Atlantic Map all random. As far as I can tell so far it is not creating problems for me in the Game Play of the mission. This Mod is a OLD MOD and I as wondering if anyone has also seen this on the South Atlantic Map with this Mod? I find this odd and also cool and have done nothing to stop it just because I see no Problems with it at this time in my mission. BELOW AS YOU CAN SEE it just has the Caucasus map listed for use with this mod so it has to be old. 2. INSTALLATION Civil Aircraft Mod.zip unzip (WinZip, WinRar, 7zip) DCS World (NTTR) - C:\ Users \ Username \ Saved Games \ DCS.openalpha \ Mods \ aircraft DCS World (Caucasus)* - C:\ … \ DCS World \ Mods \ aircraft * Will probably change later. - Mod is Freeware - use on your own responsibility

Attach the mission to take a look and check. buur Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 Best is you try to place every plane type on each airport with "start from ramp". When you can place it on the airport it will start and land from it. If not you must choose an other airport for the plane. 2

Thank You but I just went into the Mission and removed all of the random aircraft A320's from the map 8 of them all were the A320 I saved it and ran it and so far I have no new aircraft on other airports. The Mission is kind of large now. I can't help but to now think I had to of done something odd at some point to cause this to happen. I just don't know what. I will keep testing it with looking for it to happen again but so far after removing the other A320's I never placed on other Base's around the map I have had no new respon aircraft. Thanks for your help. I now think I had to be the cause of this some how some way. I don't understand how 2 of the A320's were on airfields to small to takeoff from or land on. they would crash on takeoff.

Even sample RAT missions are included in CAM package. Please make clear what about your trouble. Civil Aircraft Mod itself without RAT? or RAT settings not unique on CAM? 2 Modules: A-10C/II, F-4E, F-5E(Re), F-14A/B, F-15E, F-16C, F/A-18C, AV-8B, FC3, Ka-50-2/3, UH-1H, Mi-8MTV2, SA342, Mi-24P, AH-64D, CH-47F, P-51D Maps: Nevada, PG, Syria, SA, Sinai, Kola, Afghanistan, Iraq, CW Germany, Channel, Normandy2.0 Assets etc.: CA, Sc, WW2AP Mods and Skins in User Files: files/filter/user-is-western0221/

In my test mission, those airports can handle CAM's A320 park - taxing - taking-off on my PC : San Julian, El Calafate, Puerto Natales, Punta Arenas, Rio Grande, Ushuaia and Mount Pleasant.
