Steerpoint MAN -> AUTO

Guess Im doing something wrong but cant get her to switch to Auto sequencing on the steerpoints.

- dauber left to bring up CNI page

- press button 4/STRP

- dauber up or down to highlight MAN

- dauber right to change it to AUTO

...but it doesn't change.

Any hints?

Hey when MAN is highlighted you need to press M-SEL (0) to change between the modes.

You have to press the button M-SEL (0) on the ICP, to engage the auto (mode). But you also have to switch the Autopilot Roll Mode Switch down (to STRG SEL position) and also the switch on the right Autopilot Pitch Mode - to engage the level hold or pitch hold (what ever you want).

i hope you dont actually mean autopilot but the automatic waypoint change by this.

in order for the jet to fly along the route, steering select and either altitude hold or attitude hold needs to be turned on. these are the only "autopilot" switches there are. the other is just so it automatically switches to the next waypoint upon passing the currently selected one. this in combination with the actual autopilot will make the jet follow the route. otherwise youd just be turning circles around the selected steerpoint

Sorry, wrong term, thats only the mode (auto) and not autopilot.
