open beta 2.8.3.38090 unable to play MT VR game session, always CTD after selecting multi/single play mission

after playing last night in multiplayer, i exited out DCS MT VR session

even though the session exited in VR, the DCS window still lingered for about less than a min.

usually i would allow the window to close out entirely. but last night i shut off windows and PC, while the DCS window still was lingering.

fast forward to now, i login to DCS. get into DCS menu OK,but anytime i load a game session, instead of the loading bar with the aircraft strip wallpaper, i get a blackscreen and CTD

single thread is ok, but i no longer can run MT.

DCS updated cleanup and repair did not solve. also deleted bi-MT folder and no success

last thing i did not do was a complete delete of files and reinstall from scratch, i want to do this as last resort..

Hi @hannibal. Try to disable mirrors and see if that helps:

i ended up deleting all files in the dcs install folder except for dcs_installer and autoupdate.cfg and ran dcs repair.

everything is working now even though it created a new folder in the saved games folder and i had to move some config files over, like controller inputs, kneeboards etc...

if it happens again ill look into the mirrors? or i may try to mess with it and see if it crash again
