The following observations are from 2.8.4.39313 (MT), not tested in other versions. All values are approximate.

RALT bug (ft) - Warning tone/light (ft)

450 - 450

800 - 900

1000 - 1800

2000 - 3000

3000 - 3900

The warning tone/light therefore come on significantly before they should based on the RALT bug setting.

Occurs in SP and MP.

Thank you. Do you have a track maybe, and just to get the obvious out of the way - are you sure alitimeter setting was not off and or terrain did not interfere, for example mountains, etc.

Its not about the pressure altimeter at all. The issue is that the alt rad warning does not come on when the radalt needle crosses the index but a lot earlier if the bug is set above 900ft. It would also be super handy if rotating the warning knob would control the index position rather then the warning altitude. Right now you need to turn it a lot for anything above 1000ft since the scale is compressed beyond 1000ft.

Are you dead centering your view on the gauge to eliminate parallax? Or pulling the Bug and Radar alt numbers from DCSbios?
