YoYo Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 Is there any way to lower the HP Reverb frequency to 75Hz? Do you have any idea? 75Hz would be perfect for these goggles. 90Hz is ok, but I don't always have stable 90FPS (especially in an urban area), 60 Hz is again flicker like old TVs, you can't use it. At 75 you could fly smoothly (or near) in DCS without motion reprojection. YoYo Posted May 9, 2023 Author Posted May 9, 2023 The point is that some custom drivers would be useful which give more possibilities. After all, the monitor itself (2D) has different frequency options and there are a lot of them. In fact, why not something like this for VR goggles. A bit of a pity. 12 hours ago, slughead said: Yes. slughead Posted May 9, 2023 Posted May 9, 2023 The resolution is actually good. At 1.3x render resolution it’s as sharp at the G2 with edge to edge clarity. Plus price had reduced by a third with 30 day return trial. I tried my G2 once after getting the quest pro and have used it again since and don’t ever intend to again. So they have different refresh rate than 90Hz but not less than 60? In many materials I found info about 90Hz only, hmmm. slughead Posted May 9, 2023 Posted May 9, 2023 They have 90, 80 and 72Hz. I’m running at 72Hz with 4x MSAA everything maxed out at I’m getting 72Hz on the ramp. 1 Slugmouse: a finger-mounted mouse button emulator for hand-tracked VR cockpit clicking. Available now! Slugmouse Demonstration Video

Do you use the other sims too? Like MSFS or IL-2 BoX for example? Do you play with cable or wthout (I heard they only work for 2 hours)? slughead Posted May 9, 2023 Posted May 9, 2023 Just DCS and BMS at the moment. Cabled. No problem with battery as the cable delivers power as well as data for me. 1 Slugmouse: a finger-mounted mouse button emulator for hand-tracked VR cockpit clicking. Available now! Slugmouse Demonstration Video
