DCS often CTD for me in WW2, mostly close to a merge.

This does not happen outside WW2.

Strangest part is this issue stopped for the last 2weeks after N2 and I have flown many hours without this merge crash... but last night it started again.

Sometimes I'm able to fly for an hour unitl the crash and sometimes 10mins. I can't find the reason, please help.

Thank you. You're having the "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED" symptoms:

Here are some possible causes:

  1. Windows power plan is saving energy while playing (ensure it's default power plan at least - not "eco" or anything like it)
  2. GPU driver is faulty (you can try uninstall/reinstall it - you can even use DDU to make sure it's fully uninstalled)
  3. GPU is overclocked too much
  4. RAM is overclocked too much
  5. PSU is faulty or not strong enough
  6. GPU is faulty
  7. CPU is clogged with dust
  8. ASUS GPU Tweak is playing you tricks
  9. MSI Afterburner is playing you tricks
  10. Aorus Graphics Engine is enabled
  11. G-Sync Windowd/Fullscreen settings and DCS Windows/Fullscreen settings are not happy with each other

Any idea why this seems to only happen with WW2 during the merge? It's very consistant.

No sorry, your log does not show much more.
