We had a minor power failure in flight causing the INU to reset. After an in flight alignment the radar hellfires would continuously miss by the same amount in the same direction, about 200ft or so to the east of the target.

I know it is the INU because after landing and resetting it, the missiles worked fine again, while even getting new missiles did not solve the issue.

As far as I know though, this shouldn't happen. If the aircraft is misaligned and the INU thinks it's 200ft to the east of where it actually is, then the missile should get fed the same false data and be correct in relation to the aircraft and thus the target. Instead the missile seems to magically know it's correct location, but getting the wrong target data from the aircraft. Or am I confused here? What's going on exactly?

When I do a cold start, I typically lift off when the map data pops up in the TSD, though I don't think the INU is fully aligned at this point.  This hasn't resulted in any noticeable weirdness, until maybe now?  I just sat in the CPG seat (at a hover) to fire 114L on a group of 6 artillery units, and every one of my missiles went to a different target than the one I had designated, always to the right.

I had this happening to me today. All missiles missed to the right with the same distance.

I did not notice that I did anything out of the usual during startup.
By the time I performed the boresighting, the calibration of the " inertial navigation unit" process was done.
(I notice this by seeing the wpt and the distance to it?)

I also suspect that the unslaving of TADS end up with an equivalent erratic distance to the left.

I only encountered this in multicrew, but I didn't really do any extensive testing (or much of any flying at all) alone.

It also happened a few times with nothing going wrong, even when waiting for the INU to align fully before engine start and only with APU running. An in flight reset at the target site fixed it again, but it's annoying sitting there for 5 minutes, ready to fire but having to wait for the INU. This shouldn't happen.
