How do I enable full-screen when using VR?

When I use VR, what I'm looking at is only displayed on a tiny window on the TV display (the "regular", 2-D display that my critics, like my kids, would see), and pressing "expand" on the top-right of that window doesn't work.  What would actually work? Thanks!

So that view you are referring to is called the VR mirror. Am away at the moment but there is a config option to mirror left and/or right eyes and an associated resolution.

Isn't that a big drain on the card though? You need all the vRAM you can muster to render a scene in 2 VR screens, why stress it with rendering to a TV too?

Or maybe I misunderstand.

There's already a small "window" of it on the main screen.  Would it take more to put it up there as a full-size window?

I tried doing this, and there doesn't seem to be a screen resolution selection, just an option to check "use DCS settings" and "make horizontal window" or something like that.  All i've managed to do is get a vertical window from the top and bottom of the screen that's no wider than the original small window.

Since some update I'm unable to force full screen for this 2d mirror. 

Somehow my performance and stuttering was better when in full screen.

I did get it finally. You select your screen resolution in the 'settings' tab of "settings" button, then go to VR tab and gselect "use dcs resolution"
