The reason is so that your DCS knows how to depict any Mirage F1 that you might encounter on a MP server or on a mission that you download. This "free" part of the Mirage F1 is stored at /DCS/CoreMods ... take a look and you will see that it occupies 5.0 GB on your hard drive. The "playable" part of the F1 is at /DCS/Mods/ and its an additional 1.8 GB of storage. Now, the error lines occur because two different aircrafts have defined the same custom weapon ... and DCS does not like duplicate definitions. Most weapons on DCS are created by ED, to be used by any aircraft that uses it, but some Modules create their own custom weapons to employ in addition to those that ED provides. 1 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
fausete Posted June 7, 2023 Posted June 7, 2023 Hi guys, This should be solved in the next update, as we've transfered the BR-250 and BR-500 to ED. 1
