Longiron
Why do hellfires blow up when passing anywhere close to trees? but the KA50 and Mi28 missiles are pretty much tree blind? Is this a fuse related issue? or are hellfires just to sensitive?
Falconeer
Ka50's cannot shoot through trees. I don't know where you got that from 1 Planes: Choppers: Maps: Flaming Cliffs 3 Black Shark 2 Syria A-10C Tank killer 2 Black Shark 3 Persian Gulf F/A18C Hornet AH-64 Apache Mariana's F-16C Viper F-15E Strike Eagle Mirage 2000C AJS-37 Viggen JF-17 Thunder F-14 Tomcat
TheGhostOfDefi
I think i know where he may comes from: AI. They really can pull of some astonishing stuff... But that does not reflect the capabilitys of the aircraft itself just the Supernatural abilitys of the AI.
Longiron
was explaining that with the KA50 if I see a set of wheels or hull through some trees with <=60% obscuration the missile will still fly past the trees and make the kill. the hellfire however seems to need a football field of open sight lines for the hellfire to run down... test for yourself. AlphaOneSix
The two missiles have a completely different flight profile. That may be the problem.
