is there a way to make AI Land or takeoff at a specific time?? Ive watched a ton of videos and searched, other than the last waypoint set to landing, im not sure how to make it land after a specific amount of time. say I want to have the recovery tanker to orbit for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or make it take off exactly 12 minutes after the start of the scenario so we're not all blocking each other trying to get to the CAT for launch.

Start time can be done with the SP waypoint, or by setting the unit to Uncontrolled, adding a triggered action to Start, then triggering the action at a specified time.

I believe the Orbit command has a duration setting, but I can't check at work.

I would select late activation on the plane itself.

From there I would set the time to start. So if your mission starts at 8am and you want it to spawn at 930 you just have to set that time to start at 930.

Another option is a trigger to activate group - when time is - more than 5400 (seconds) equal to 1hr 30min delay.

There are a few ways to play around with triggers and late activation....

Ill try and post a screenshot for you after if needed....(just working)

This is how I would set it up... and of course you can amend the time to suit your mission needs. The Tanker will start moving within a few second of spawning so keep that in mind when working out your times. (message in the trigger is optional - I was just testing)

Hope this helps.

Bottom - Trigger setup

Middle pic just shows the Tanker spawned. Sorry they aren't in the right order

Awesome, thanks for the info, I’ve been trying to get the hang of triggers vs flags…basically what I’m after is to be able to plan a landing time..say have a group of Hornets land at 09:15.

There's little control you can do on AI landing shenanigans and you'll maybe find that they act like cats if you try to to get specific things to happen lols. Getting them to the location at a specific time should be doable though.
