can't start campaign again

Recently did a re install, and re downlaoded S&A. It shows in my campaigns but the lettering is not fully white and while I can highlight it, nothing happens if I press restart and no information about mission status etc is displayed.

Any tips to sort the issue? 

How do I uninstall and re install?

Please contact ED about this, as I have no overview or control over their campaign menu and installation problems, I'm sorry. Thanks!

if possible try to run a repair or verify if steam, then try to reproduce the issue. 

If you reproduce the issue contact support with the dcs.log from that session, it should have clues.
