Airway Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Look at the airwolf picture. The whit ends at the tail very low down. Only small white strip. From there one staight line till where the tail ends, then one angle only and again straight towards the front. You have the white very high at the tail. Too early you do the first angle, then short straight and again an angle. Do you see what I mean?

Do you see what I mean? yes i know what you mean, i think it looks crap with one shallow angle.. on the KA ( since its so fat at the end ) maybe i'll try and start it futher back.. i tryed to do exactly that today but ended up as this, ( it looked shit ) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Airway Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Yes, the Ka-50 has a different architecture than the Bell-222. would keep the white to black border parallel to the lower edge othe tail section of the helicopter. But at least: You are the artist and you present it like you mean it to be :)
RCN_Moose Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Kevlon, I was going to try typing what everyone else just said. Instead I did a quick example. (God I love Photoshop) I think the big problem is the KA50 doesn't have a lower tail. Hm, just looking at my quick pic, the other big difference is the tail sectiom on the fuselage is way thicker then the Bell. Doing a single angle gives alot of white.....
Kevlon Posted March 6, 2009 Author Posted March 6, 2009 yeah, thats the prob. its dosent look that good. I'll try to start the angle abit futher back, but the tail section is the prob, its difficult to get the same illusion since she has such a fat ass. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
CrazyD Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Like was mentioned earlier, the Bell has a different tail profile, so in order to maintain the thin white line, why not just follow the KA contours and forget about trying to match the angle. Then at least visually, it will look similar. I really like your tiger (lion?) graphic - way cool!
Kevlon Posted March 7, 2009 Author Posted March 7, 2009 added some work on the tail. added the file , i dont know how to pivet the camerea around to different spots.. i use the F3 key.. here they are. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Boneski Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Amazing! And very fitting... Not sure what's the big deal people are talking about... every picture that has been displayed has looked amazing. This is a great paint scheme and looks great on the K. It should be added in the next patch if there is one. Great work! My mission is to fly, fight, and win. o-:|:-o What I do is sometimes get a tin of soup, heat it up, poach an egg in it, serve that with a pork pie sausage roll.
