Flappie Posted August 7, 2023 Posted August 7, 2023 Then it's time to try a DCS cleanup and repair. ---

I just tried an instant action with the legacy F18 and it didnt crash. I think its either the Superbug mod that i was using or TheBriefingRoom's missions getting generated. Ill do the repair as a last LAST resort but could it possibly be connected to one of these 3rd parties possibly? Edited August 8, 2023 by Bucketnate
Solution Flappie Posted August 8, 2023 Solution Posted August 8, 2023 (edited) Yes, it is a possibility. The crash message is not very helpful here. In this case, it's best to try different solutions. We often advise to: Run a DCS cleanup and repair (in case the game files are damaged) Rename the Saved Games/DCS... folder (in case a user mod/setting/whatever is causing a conflict) I often advise the repair first because it does not alter custom settings. However, if you often use mods, it's best to try renaming the Saved Games/DCS... folder first. Because mods are often source of trouble: they need to be adapted to an ever changing sim, and this takes time to detect issues, and more time to fix the mod code. I'll keep an eye here. Let us know if your issue is solved for good. Edited August 8, 2023 by Flappie typo 1 ---

It also looks like all the original config and mod folders were untouched as well. I was able to complete the mission without a crash with the same mods running
