Help with Pimax Crystal ?

Ive just spent 6 hours trying to get the crystal to work !... Open Xr,Pmax xr ,Pimax client .. No joy ! as a desperate last result, I downloaded steam Vr and got it to work but I dont like Steam Vr ! I end up Under the Cockpit, I dont know how to Center the View , Any Advice or Help would be Appreciated ! ~S~

Hi,

to center the view just press Num5 on the numpad

there are additional options like

Left: Rshift+Rctrl+Num4

Right: Rshift+Rctrl+Num6

Up: Rshift+Rctrl+Num8

Down: Rshift+Rctrl+Num2

Backward Rshift+Rctrl+Num/

Forward: Rshift+Rctrl+Num*

Save Position: Ralt+Num0

 

I have a lot of problems with my crystal but getting openxr to work was no problem. What exacty is not working?

Assign VR-Recenter view to a button on HOTAS. Press it when getting into cockpit. Easy peasy. I would much rather press a button myself.

I run the Crystal with the DCS open beta.  Remember to change the shortcut to include....

 

"C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin-mt\DCS.exe" --force_enable_VR --force_OpenXR

Thanks Lads ! I got it all up and running. OMG , VR ! WOW ! 

I am going to do a Post here about my Pimax experience when I have most of the issues sorted. (Youtubers Only say OMG with no Help ). Hopefully, I can pass on my Pimax experience Warts and All . Stay tuned !~S~

Just looking for crystal info, & may purchase, so you add " --force_enable_VR --force_OpenXR"  to "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin-mt\DCS.exe" in the properties target when using the crystal, & only the crystal?  Sorry I'm not up on some this stuff.  Can you please explain more, thanks.

you go to your DCS World Icon on your Desktop and right click to find your properties.

Thanks, but what is --force_enable_VR --force_OpenXR for ?    WMR ?,  something to do with steam? , or needs doing just for Crystal ?

The beta multi threaded version is now OpenXR so no “— force open XR” is needed. Also if you ran DCS in VR last time and didn’t switch off vr in the in game menus it will start in VR next time too. And in that case you don’t need “force enable VR“ either.
