Rescue the handy wind

Hi,

 

I like to ask, I completed the mission"Rescue the handy wind" with a total score of 100 as you can see on the screenshots

But: The next mission will not start and the "rescue handy wind" mission is the mission I can select in the campain menu, again.

I tried it 2 times to verify.

Maybe a bug?

I'll test it, can you skip it in the campaign menu? This may be a DCS bug rather than the campaign. I'll test it none the less. 

I remember that when it was submitted to ED they had some problems with localization, this may be related. I'll dig a but deeper.

Scipping the mission is possible.

After scipping the mission "Huey wind" I started the mission "Fast Boats in the night" Same is here, I can`t continue.

What do you mean by scripting the mission? 

The campaign engine is verry simple, once you hit the passing score, in this case 100 the next mission should be available, this campaign is linear, the next mission should be available if it is in the correct folder. 

I tested on my end i have no problem. I'll ask the guys at ED if they have seen anything like this. As i was saying there may be some error with the localization of DCS. I remember some tester at ED had a similar problem, but it's not something that I can fix unfortunately.

I mean SKIP.

I skipped the "Rescue the handy wind" mission and continued with the "fast boats" mission. 100% score and the next mission was not available.

I had no problems with all other missions, before.

I can confirm that this problem exist after completing this missions. I think it is DCS bug, not campaign itself cuz it happend to me few times in other campaigns for diffrent modules.

I'll bring it up to them, any chance you can do a screen recording? this way they can see what's happening.

By screen recording u mean just record what happen after i push mission end button ? And i can confirm further this problem occurs as well in mission 10 and 11.

Yeah, that, showing the 100 score, and then trying to play the next mission. Because I can't reproduce it on my end. Do you have a different localization on your DCS install? Is it in another language?

Ok so this is my recording from mission 12. I have Steam version of the game and english as a language. As for a localization i have dedicated M2 disc for DCS so nothing is on it apart for that one game. As for previos missions counted as succes, i just modified logbook.lua (i cant stand the view of few skipped missions xD)

I have the non steam version, I use german as the language and my DCS folder is on a seperate M2 SSD (DCS and nothing else on the SSD)

Today i finished campaign and i can tell that from "Rescue The Handy Wind" all to the end, after every mission u can't progress to next. It even didn't count last mission so i havent officialy finished campaign  I'm pretty sure it is some DCS bug.

It is not writing somewhere properly. I'll start the campaign, skip it to the Handy Wind mission, fly it and see what happens on my end.

This should have been fixed on ED side.

It is not fixed. Can you tell me which data is responsible for saving the score from the campaign to DCS/User/Savegames? Any idea?

@BIGNEWY can you guys have a look at this? There's another thread with "under inverstigation" I thought this was fixed in one of the previous updates, but it seems like it was not. There's not a whole lot I can do on my end.

Please look at my screendshot. In some other campaign menus I found something: ZEICHNEN in blue and 50Points.

I`m sure I had not 50 points because I continued the campaign. 

Maybe this is the bug and responsible that I can`t go on.

I Found the blue ZEICHNEN in some KA50 and MILMI 8 campaigns, also. I don`t know what it is...its new.

Help would be appreciated, I can`t go on after the mission "Rescue the Handy Wind" I completed the mission, again, with 100 Points as you can see at the screenshot. Is there any progress for a solution? Am I the only guy with this problem or are there people who can complete the campaign without trouble? Let me know, please. Thank you!

@BIGNEWY @NineLine What do we have to troubleshoot here? On my end when I edit the .cmp file I don't have any options and it all looks okay. Users have 100 score on a mission and yet the campaign is not progressing. This is not something I can troubleshoot on my end. Help is needed and appreciated. Check the post in this thread in December. I asked for help again to no avail. Can this be escalated somewhat?
