H.A.A.R.P. is powerful as well. has other applications as well, makes it possible to temporarily make a 'hole' in the ionosphere, ie letting the cosmic rays penetrate (a certain 'cylinder' that extends into space), and watch them fry. Or let RF energy counce off the plasma cloud (use it like a 'lens', or giant radar dish), directing it over the horizon for surveillance, early warning or jamming.

Very 'interesting' applications, wonder how much of it has been already done.

There is no possibility for radio transmission through a plasma field.

 

Thats why there is no radio contact with re-entry vehicles like a space shuttle or a russian pod during the re-entry phase before landing.

Well, there is some very 'interesting' stuff flying around already, just nobody confirming its existence, that about the claim that plasma fields seriousely cut down the resistance, think ufo sightings and such. Maybe like an extreme form of ionic wind. In either case there are some pretty hefty things flying around all over the globe, and most of them, if not all are not natural phenomena.

And the antimissile potential is already confirmed, so at least it's a plausible way to deviate ballistic objects.

My physics are rusty, but in the amateur video titled Angels don't play this H.A.A.R.P., it is said that radio waves can bounce off a plasma cloud in the ionosphere (~600km up), and be redirected over the horizon in that manner. Don't know if it's true, the person doing the telling is a physics teacher and a son of some American congressman.

 

 

P.S., The video is a compilation of serveral different aspects of plasma, and is cut up so bad that the story is incoherent. It says the Russians started with the facility in the early nineties, that a plasma cloud enveloping an aircraft could reduce its resistance tenfold. And that in 1992 during a test with an artillery shell showed that the shell deviated from its path due to the cloud.

Plasma has been know as radar reflecting scenes first flights to space.

Russians are claiming that they have devise about 100kg that can generate plasma around moving objects. I'm sure they have something that generate it but how effective it is on a airplane or Red Alert Tank is question for GG.

 

They might have devise but not machine that can handle it.

I can generate plasma right now in my microwave. It's very effective at rendering the microwave useless for cooking.

 

Insofar as bouncing radar off off the ionosphere - that has been known for a long time, and it has been used for over-the-horizon surveillance for a long time also. Check out the low frequency EWR stations used by the Russians and USA.

 

And yes, plasma -does- radiate. A lot.

My comment about F-22 was wrong, its not the way I wanted it to be understood. sorry.

Im sure it has some effective materials, But I really hope Ruskijs make something else, like EOS for example at that time.

I think they post a new article every year talking about EMP and plasma weapons being fielded soon. I remember one saying they were working on EMP tanks and rifles..
