Nope, you did it right.

It´s just that he F-16 is overly picky on where your steering line is. You have to have it dead center in the middle of the FPM or it will not release.

Thank you for your advice. I learned something through trial and error.
It seems that the bomb will not be dropped at the time of the first drop. (blinking circle)
It will be dropped by pressing the button at the second drop timing.

Blinking circle is a toss cue, it tells you when to start pulling IF you want to do a toss delivery. A lot of people get tripped up by that because majority of tutorials on youtube were made before it was added

I find Mambo's Masterclass tutorials pretty good as it has more details.

I'm having the same problem but I'm using autopilot with course heading to keep the azmith on track with the target and still can't get the bombs to release.  They will in the training session but won't in the instant action or red flag campaign.  I've tried everything I can think of and can't get a release?  Any other thoughts.  I've got class at II.

Post a track otherwise all you're going to get is wild guesses that may not be even close to the right answer.

Run the "mission" where you are experiencing the problem - exit the mission when after trying bomb release (or whatever) click on SAVE TRACK.

In you username saved games DCS folder there is a folder called TRACKS - there you will find the track you just saved, attach it to you next post.
