Absolutely loving the new Copy Settings in the Mission Editor, it's made life so much easier for setting specific payloads and certain properties between aircraft.

One super time consuming aspect to the mission editor, especially when you have a plethora of aircraft in the mission, is placing waypoints. With the newly added Copy Settings, I would love to see the ability to copy a units waypoints to other aircraft, rather than having to individually place them for each group.

I've attached a screenshot of what this could potentially look like in the Copy Settings section.

I've been updating all of my missions for the F-4 over the last few days, and as I have been tediously (like most mission makers) adding and dragging new waypoints over the existing ones from other aircraft, I was thinking of another solution to make this less cumbersome to mission makers.

What about an option to make Waypoints out of Triggers?

Example:
Place a Trigger Zone and Name it WP 1 (and so on)

Place an Aircraft and in the "Route" tab, you'd have another box (with add, insert, edit, etc).

When clicking "add" you see a list of waypoints (trigger zones) from the list.

Add the triggers you desire to the list, and lines are drawn automatically based on the order that they are in.

"Copy Settings" as mentioned in the first post, would be a godsend with a system like this, where waypoints don't have to be dropped and dragged tediously every time you create a mission with multiple aircraft.

Additional options to set altitude, name, etc.

Adding trigger zones to a mission is expensive (bad performance). This is NOT the way.

You could more easily use the 'drawing' tools to create the path from line segments and then use some scripting to read that path and generate waypoints for aircraft at the start of the mission.
