hi, i just came from vacation and my dcs game makes a weird thing. While i'm playing the game suddenly starts making the fps low. And it does it a constant timings like: the fps get low, then the game goes well and 5 seconds later the fps get low again. It does this during all the time i'm playing.

thanks

Hi

Check graphic setting. I had similar issue, and it was becaouse I did put all to the max for some screeshots, and forgot to put them back in the sweet spot.

Saludos.

Sounds like there's something going on in the background.

Check windows for background processes whilst your game is running, Check for DCS export-scripts, check the fill of your ssd (if you happen to use one) and check your pagefile settings.

Edit: Do a slow repair, just for good measure. I doubt though, that it is directly caused by the game itself.

First of all, do you have some kind of telemetry software running (Afterburner/Riva Statistic Server would be convenient)?

It would be helpful to see if the load of your CPU is spiking during those fps drops.

Otherwise tke a look at the windows task manager -> performance tab and see for regular CPU spikes (and while you're at it take a look at the other metrics as well).

Do you have any export scripts running? Like Tacview, Winwing-software etc...? Have you double checked your GFX settings?
