Jimboo Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Can’t get my F5E to taxi. What am I missing? Plane acts like the brakes are on. Doesn’t matter how much thrust I use, the plane just sits there. I know I have to be overlooking or missing something. Any help is appreciated.

Tell the ground crew to remove the wheel chocks... you can also check via F2 view, if the wheel chocks are removed. 1
nairb121 Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Are the wheel chocks in place? If so, you'll need to ask the ground crew to remove them. If it were just brakes the engines should be able to overcome them. 1
MAXsenna Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 Like those above me wrote. Check the wheel chocks. I tested a mission yesterday, but they were not placed, even if it seems that this will be mandatory implemented by popular (and realistic) demands from the community. It has been done for some modules already, don't remember if the F-5 is one of them. Cheers!
Daemoc Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 (edited) I would also check to make sure your toe brake axis is not mapped backwards. Mine were by default. Edited August 26, 2023 by Daemoc 1 Ryzen7 5800X3D - MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk MAX - 64Gb 3600MHz DDR4 - RX 6950 XT - SoundBlaster -Z
Jimboo Posted August 26, 2023 Author Posted August 26, 2023 Chocks were not the problem. The only way I get the plane to move is to hold down the toe brakes. The plane moves as long as I hold down the toe brakes. Kinda difficult for me to hold the toe brakes down and use the rudders at the same time. The rudders do their job just fine. I appreciate all the help I can get..
