Missing rocket Pods on inner pylons - Ka-50 III

I have a training mission I created for the Ka-50 III and it has worked fine for weeks. I have noticed recently that sometimes the B-13L rocket pod is present and correct on the inner pylons and other times it is missing! I thought it may have just been a VR issue but I have tested in both VR and 2D and some days the rockets are there and some days they are missing!

The only mod I have installed recently is the JAS39 but I have removed it and tested again and I still have the issue.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hmm, I have looked into the mission, but wasn't able to reproduce your issue. The hort starting Ka-50 always spawns with the B-13L rocket pod for me 🤷‍♂️

Hi QuiGon

Thanks for your response. Given that it all worked fine for you I carried out a repair on my DCS install. I did the repair on all files and before rebooting I also deleted the FXO and Metashader2 folders just for good measure- I'm not sure what difference that makes but I know it is something we should do after an update so it must have some effect 🙂

The result is that my rockets have re-appeared, YAY! On reflection I should have done a repair straight away but you know how panic can blind you sometimes! LOL

kind regards

hi QuiGon

As I said, just carried out a repair to DCS. If you go into 'All Apps' fro the Windows start menu and scroll down to the Eagle Dynamics folder, you will see a link titled "Repair DCS World OpenBeta". I usually select the option to check all files. It takes a little longer but I think it's worth the wait. Regarding deleting the FXO and Metashader 2 directories, these can be found in your Saved Games folder ... C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta. I believe that if you delete them, a fresh version is created when starting DCS, hence the recommendation to delete them following an update.
