Vitenam might end up being huge,

Calling it a "Vietnam" map would be a poor reflection upon the theatre itself. We're talking about an internecine conflict involving not just the Peoples Republic of Vietnam and the Republic of Vietnam, but also Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos in very big ways.

The only way to effectively do this would be to model the whole region. Having multiple maps just won't cut it. It'll be quite the challenge for ED, too, but if you ask me? It's the kind of challenge one takes up to improve and thus makes it worth it.

So, be prepared to pay quite a premium.

Agree! 👍🏻

Just give us the whole of South-East Asia in WWII and Cold War clothing and be done with it. 😉

I'd love to see a serise of maps that when bought together fit together.

@MiG21bisFishbedL I agree the Vietnam map will be complex and detailed, which means we will likely pay $50-$60. The map is not complete without loas and cambodia.

I am 100% OK with paying a premium for a Vietnam map...

That's what I imagine it will take. I think we'd be looking at $70, honestly.

I'm not sure we'd be able to get the Southeast Asian theatre without really pushing the tech of DCS to another level, so that's what I'd say be prepared to do. I am, at the very least.
