Static Aircraft Wings Folded On Airfield

Recommended Posts

The Static Hornet's wings are folded on the airfield, but they shouldn't be. I remember when they were only folded when you linked them to a carrier. When the Static Hornet is on the airfield, it's wings should but unfolded. Can we get an option to have them folded or unfolded? It looks weird, a line of Hornets with their wings folded on an airfield. Not saying they can't be folded on the airfield, but 9/10 they're unfolded on the airfield.

Wow, that's quite a find, @AndyB.  Was that documented somewhere you can link?  Just wondering what custom args 1-7 might control.  😁

Just found out, if you go to the liveries and add the line - [8] = 0 under "Custom Args" you can change this.

What do you mean? Where's "the liveries"? And where to find these custom args?

If you open the model viewer and open the f-18.edm in the Drive:/DCSWorldOpenBeta/Coremods/aircraft/f-18c/shapes, you can see all the different arguments and their values, and just try adding a line in the liveries folder of the description of the same path

Yes, I know Model Viewer, I know what arguments are. How can I manipulate them in mission editor for statics?

So you have to go into the liveries folder for the aircraft, select a livery, go into the description.lua for the livery selected and add the line

[8] = 0 under "Custom Args"
