Force gamma for Multiplayer Servers

We need an option to force the gamma for multiplayer clients.

This will prevent clients from cheating.

Then you can adjust the gamma of your Monitor.

So it's basically useless to restrict gamma from DCS if you can still adjust gamma from driver and last but not least directly from the monitor itself, isn't it?

I think it still needs to be there. If you want to cheat, cheat using the monitor and burn your eyes when leaving the server then.

You haven't yet made a case why it should be there (even as an option).  Every option added will have a tiny impact on the game (one more thing that needs to be processed) and while you won't notice each one individually, eventually it becomes death by a thousand options eating processing power.  Unless you can make a good case WHY it would be useful I not sure why it would be looked at.

To prevent cheating during PVP missions (night time). Even SATAL night fights were done changing the gamma to see almost like daytime.

I know you can change the gamma on the monitor, yet I still think there should be an option in game for this.

And you think that just this little drawback It can really annoy cheater or prevent them to do it?
Adding this "forced option" you'll just "encourage" them in do it, since they will feel more fulfilled to accomplish their "advantage" against the other.

It's the same behavior of problitionism.....we are ( humans ) strange animals

As I said, I don't believe there will be any real benefits to do this, since the workaround is really too easy, can't be detected, and with a small drawback.

The better option is to not have night missions.
