Arink429 Posted September 30, 2023 Posted September 30, 2023 (edited) Hi. Moving the F-18 on deck with wings folded I noticed that the plane hits obstacles visually clear, like if it was with wings extended. It seems that the calculated wingspan is allways wing extended. rob10 Posted September 30, 2023 Posted September 30, 2023 Interesting. I had something similar happen on the carrier in a MP mission last week. I knew I wasn't close enough to other plane to have hit it, but heard crunching sound and had nose damage. It would fit what you're describing. Will have to play with that and see if I can get a track.
Foka Posted September 30, 2023 Posted September 30, 2023 It more sounds like a desnyc - You think you're (or other player is) in place A, but because of desync server sees you/him 2 m to the side and bang - collision. It happens regardless of wings status.
ameriveaux Posted September 30, 2023 Posted September 30, 2023 its more like certain planes like the Seahawk? (old poly naval helicopter present in tomcat / hornet CASE missions ) have some sort of invisible hit box around it that your bug or cat can get stuck next to even with wings folded/in . Just earlier today I wanted to take a hornet up of the carrier but a helicopter was parked next to cat 1 and I got jammed up and sucked up next to it......
