cfrag Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Hi, I'm trying to create a helicoper-based scenario in the beautiful SA map, only to be stymied by the fact that ham-fisted I can't seem to be able to remove some of the verdant flora on the map to make space for by base. I'm using a REMOVE OBJECTS ZONE action in a trigger AT START, but try as I might, the trees are very stubborn, and seem to resist their removal. Now, most obvious reason: I'm doing something wrong. Attached please find the preliminary (poc) scenario I'm working on. What am I doing wrong? All help and hints appreciated. Carpet Crawlers.miz
razo+r Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 (edited) The trigger is highly inconsistent. Zone 2 was without trees, Zone 1 still had trees for me in your mission. But I don't see anything wrong with the setup. Edited October 1, 2023 by razo+r

I went back into the mission after fully re-starting DCS and suddenly now the trees are gone. All of them in both zones. Will now try this in MP. Thank you for giving me hope
razo+r Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Well, there you go. Sometimes the trigger works, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes it removes a square instead of a circle. Pretty much random.

I will suggest waiting for the next update for South Atlantic then we will revisit it.
