IR Seeker active light goes off after using A/G radio contolled missiles and never back on again

Hi all,

this time i made a short trk file, see attachment.

My loadout was 1 A/G Heat missile, 1 A/G HE missile at the stations called "msl". 

Station 1 and 4 each 1 R-60m A/A infra red missile.

Flying towards the target area, i released A/G Heat missiles to hardtargets.

until i did that, the "infra red seeker active" yellow light was on. 

After releasing the A/G weps, the light went off and never got on again, so using my A/A missles where not possible anymore.

Told Petrovic to hold fire and undesig scope off, nothing happens to the yellow rdy light. A/A panel power off and on again and then switching from station 1 to 2 and back again, no change.

Maybe someone can help me out of this problem, engaged this all the time.

No .. i fly only Beta version.

I just took a look at the track file and I suspect it might be an issue with unlimited weapons, as unlimited weapons is turned on for this mission.

That's the point, I can't see your track. For some reason my DCS is not seeing it at all.

You need to switch them off BEFORE using ATGMs. If left on, they will come back, but it takes a long time.

I was able to see it just fine (using the Open Beta).

Interesting, haven't heard this before. Do you have any estimate how long it takes the missiles to come back online?

My bad, that's the case when rearming. AFAIK, if you have R-60 active and Petrovich on hold fire mode, you can't fire ATGMs.. He can fire fine in free fire mode. So, if it's an air target, you can fire both ATGM and R-60 at the same time.

TBH, I haven't used R-60s after that mission, so didn't test further.

OP, try to do full repair.

Will try it tomorrow and will let you know.

All in all it makes no sence for me at the moment, if unlimited or limited weps are aktivated in the mission. It should work this or that way, like it does at all my other Modules.

The "unlimited weapons" option actually does cause similar issues in some other modules as well as it is not realistic for the missile to reapear on the pylons after having fired them and thus can cause issues with the missile selection logic of the aircraft.

Thx to QuiGon, the strange behavior i mentioned before was a result of "unlimited weps" active.

Would be nice, if that can be fixed that way, that you can use it for training maps to train your new mods, without going back to your homebase to rearm/refuel.
