Stuttering with 0% GPU usage

Hello everyone,

after this patch i can't play DCS. I can start different maps/Missions/modules. No changing, i can delete fxo + metashader2, no changes. 
Example:

 

Syria map, f18 quick mission freeflight. DCS 2.8.x 56-70fps and a gpu usage between 70 and 90%; now 54-70 fps, but stuttering. The gpu usage is swtichting from 70-80% to 0%, stuttering and back to 70-80%. 

 

Nvidia driver: 545.84

chipset and all other one up-to-date

win10-64 pro, up to date

Anyone have a idea?

I have now run dcs without MT,... all works fine now. I miss MT, 20fps lost with my old pc.

I have the same. In vr on this game runs better than before. But in 2d my fps jumps from 180 to 5 every 2 seconds

please attach your dcs log from the stutter session. 

Ensure hot plug in dcs controls are disabled

I have check it again. With hot plug disabled. No changes. I can only play without MT now.  dcs.logDxDiag.txt

I am having the same stuttering issue as well after the 2.9 update except not in MT. I had no issues before the update but it is so bad DCS is unplayable now. Lowering the clouds detail down from ultra to a lower setting helped some but still have the stuttering and freezing issue. Just a little less .

I also had a stuttering issue despite running with 60 fps since updating to 2.9.

Turning the 'Low Latency' option to OFF in the Nvidia Control Panel did the trick for me and fixed the stuttering completely. Give it a try, make sure to restart your PC to really apply the settings.

This helped me not, i have never used low latency. have try it, activate and deactivate. No chenges.
