Turn on controls indcator overlay or watch the legs of pilot. Tiny smooth pedals cause excessive diversions in amount and direction of pedal motion. FalcoGer Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 I got thrustmaster pedals and they work just fine. They did change the heading hold logic though.

You say thrustmaster pedals are not working in the bug reports. Of course me saying that my thrustmaster pedals ARE working is helping because it shows that the problem is not with the pedals themselves. mine are about 6 years old.
DmitriKozlowsky Posted October 22, 2023 Author Posted October 22, 2023 run joy.cpl from command prompt. Select T-Rudder properties Move pedals rudder axis. ?Is the input stable and accurate? In DCS/Options/AH-64D Pilot/Axis/Rudder When going from max deflection L to max R and vice versa are the inout stable or does it vibrate as it moves? Mine vibrates a lot. The software is not filtering and smoothing input. What this causes is tail that wiggles. creating unstable directional control.

DmitriKozlowsky Posted October 22, 2023 Author Posted October 22, 2023 yes So U believe the pedals are failing. The potentiometers are faulty or worn out?
FalcoGer Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 If the problem is not just showing in DCS but elsewhere, like in the windows axis position indicator, then it's not a DCS bug. I can't tell you what's wrong with your pedals. Ask TM.
