[NO BUG] Mirrors in F14A and B just Blurry Texture

So haven't added any Mods, read some of the other threads on the F14 Mirrors but haven't found a solution.  

Basically my mirrors in both the F14A and B are just blurry textures. 

Checked mirrors in the F18C and those look fine and work as expected.

nullTried changing some settings around, but nothing seems to make a difference.  Turned off settings or lowered the cockpit resolution down to 512, no difference.

Verified that my description.lua in the F14\Liveries\F14B_Cockpit had the following set already.

    {"mirror_top", 0 ,"mirrors",true};
    {"mirror_left", 0 ,"mirrors",true};
    {"mirror_right", 0 ,"mirrors",true};
    {"rio_mirror", 0 ,"mirrors",true};
}

Anyone have ideas?

The mirrors in the Tomcat don't fold away like in other aircraft. If you turn them off, this behaviour is what you see. They still render the basic colors but don't actually reflect.

If you turn the mirrors on they should work like normal.

Yup that was it.  Just needed to hit M.  There a way to make them enabled by default instead of hitting M every time?

Yes, there should be a checkbox somewhere in the settings where you can set that. Probably under Gameplay, but not sure.

I have the same problem as described in first post. I ticked mirrors in Gameplay screen and used 1024 resolution of cockpit displays (please see first and second screenshots).

When start flight, Mirrors in F-14B cockpit are like as on third attached screenshot, when I hit "M" button, it looks blurry as on fourth screenshot. On other modules mirrors works without problem . What em I doing wrong?

I used MT in Windows 10

Remove any mods that you have, run a repair and try again.

Thank you for your advise. I have done that some time ago, no mods in my installation now. Nevertheless I run the repair again, but nothing changed.

There still is some custom cockpit or livery causing this. Rename your \saved games\dcs world folder temporarily and test.

I have again checked if all the mods were actually removed and found out, that one mod somehow slipped my previous check. Exactly as you said, the mod was custom cockpit. My fault. Now everything works as should.
