reported Many AI helicopters have a 360° field of view (no blind spot)

I did a simple test, in which the vast majority of AI helicopters instantly spot a Shilka which is located behind and bellow them. They should not be able to spot it, as it is in their blind spot (no visibility possible from the cockpit or with sensors). 

Of the helos I tested, the Mi-24P and the Ka-50 III didn't spot the Shilka. The OH-58D, the AH-1Z, AH-64D, AH-64D blk II, Mi-8 TV2, etc... all spotted the Shilka.

Thanks for your track. Short, simple, efficient.

I wanted  to make sure it had nothing to do with the detection of Shilka radar scanner, so I tried with the Shilka alarm state to green. That did not change anything. The issue is now reported.

Problem seems to be mostly solved, except for the Mi8TV2 which seems to have really good sensors 

Haven't tested every single AI helo though...

Watching your second track, I reckon that something may have changed recently.

But the first one still shows the issue.

Maybe it's different whether the threat is IR or radar?

EDIT: the answer is no.
