Blaze Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 HUAF you know how to extract 3d models from FSX? Yes some people do. Don't ask how it's done. i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement. Luse Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 It's a very touchy and highly personal matter for some. STT Radar issue is leftover code.

Blaze Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Do not encourage use of that program please, last thing we need is people on the forums converting payware addons without permission. i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement. Spanky Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Yes, It comes in handy, but ONLY if you are the owner of the original content... For me it's been great being able to get access to max files of previously lost IRIS source content, but I've already had to deal with nasty buggers ripping out our work and putting it into different platforms or selling it on 3d model websites.. Double edged sword indeed... :)

john_X Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 i don't know if it's made by who... one thing i know, the models is for free here: http://www.3dcadbrowser.com/preview.aspx?modelcode=31108 the only thing you have to do is to upload some 3D-s of your owns, to download anything, and i didn't do that.
Blaze Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 (edited) That L-29 was made by Tim "Piglet" Conrad for FS2004 [link], ripped by HUAF074 and put on 3DCadBrowser years back. Shame. flanker1 Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 hey zei, it is a beauty. please release it as 3rd party DCS:L-29 that would be very cool addition to the amazing DCDS-series.
Blaze Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 hey zei, it is a beauty. please release it as 3rd party DCS:L-29 that would be very cool addition to the amazing DCDS-series. Just want to be clear that just because someone has a 3D model of a particular aircraft, doesn't mean they'll be able to do a DCS-level airplane with that. It requires much more than that, years of development. :) i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement.
