Help Please - SU25 laser guided training - Mercury Pod -Display not showing night vision - ]

I did everything as the training instructs. I aimed it down at the ground too and tried flying around turning it off and on but it did not work. Someone on reddit mentioned I didn't have flood lights on and i had no clue.  Can anyone please help? Also the training asks me to turn on the cockpit lighting but they are already on as soon as the mission starts.

It's Su-25T training mission for Vikhr Laser Guided Missiles.

Your TDC on the screenshot is pointing at the sky. You have to point it to the ground ahead of you.

Or, perhaps, he did slew the reticle to the ground. I have the same issue as the OP. The display remains dark. I can see more with the Shkval than the Mercury pod. Obviously something is wrong on my end. I’ll need to double check for mods. This is supposed to be my clean copy but who knows?

Do you guys use MT preview version?

I wasn’t when I tried the mission. It only works on MT?

EDIT: Problem solved. It evidently only works properly with the MT exe.

Im still having the same problem. MT didnt seem to fix it. Applies to all usage of the pod, not just training mission

Upload your track saved after the trial and /saved games/dcs/logs/dcs.log.
