bephanten Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 a blinding flash happens from time to time when flying the apache. it happens although all external light of vehicle is off. it behaves like a strobe light. very disturbing. it is more prevalent in night missions. strobe.trk
NIGHTHAWK1 Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 (edited) I just experienced the same effect a few days ago flying at night. At first I thought it was an AC behind me with its strobe on, but went outside(f2) and nothing there, just intermittent flashes. I was in a night missions from a campaign, royal hammer or Georgian hammer. I thought it was probably my machine just not able to keep up. was in the apache Edited December 8, 2023 by NIGHTHAWK1 I-9 12900K, RTX 3090, 64 GB, 2TB SSD, Oculus Quest 2, Win 11, Winwing Orion F-16EX Stick, F-18 dual throttle, Thrustmaster TPR pedals.
TIGEREAGLE Posted December 9, 2023 Posted December 9, 2023 I can also confirm this, it's not just with the AH64 but also with other modules. I flew an evening mission on the Nevada MAP, so the transition from evening to night and the flashes can be seen not only in the cockpit but also on the outside, the module is briefly brightly lit! Flying with VR is not pleasant! And the weather was not set for a thunderstorm!
Vakarian Posted December 9, 2023 Posted December 9, 2023 Known issue, supposedly to be fixed in the next update. Fingers crossed
