Hello good people. I have noticed since the new version 2.9 that I have a problem with stuttering more often during landing, whether during the day or at night, I am interested if it is due to the SSLR being turned on in the options, I know what this is, but I am wondering what exactly is the role of SSLR in To DCS. SSAO is on for me, it means that the chopping occurs occasionally only during landing, during flight and action I have no problems with it ???

My computer configuration is: Procesor AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor 3.40 GH 16.0 GB Ram /  SSD Disc / Graphics Card: Radeon RX 570 Series

SSLR = Screen Space (Local?) Reflections

SSAO = Screen Space Ambient Oclusion

The more elements on Screen using those effects = The greater your performance get hits and that usually occur flying at low level or at ground

I have SSLR off. SSAO is on, basic graphics settings: Textures/Terrain/Shadows are High.Flat Shadows/Secondary and SSS are ON.Visibility and Clouds are Ultra.Water is High.MSAA 4x and Sharpness is 0.50.These are my graphics settings..

I don't use DLSS, FSR, etc., somehow it doesn't come naturally to me

SSLR and SSAO are less important gfx settings in DCS and can easily be dismissed without much visual impact.

Of course it is always a matter of taste, but for those two you literally have to build a dedicated scene to even notice them.

I am personally very happy with the addition of the Sharpening option, it is very effective even with very little addition, the change is obvious

Try SSS off, it's known to cause some troubles. Shadows also demand a lot in DCS, so lowering them might be helpful. Just try one by one and see what works and what doesn't. But my guess is your settings are too high for your hardware.

SSS has been on since the beginning, I see it's a new option now, the shadows are all on too, only SSLR is off and I think that's what was causing the problem, I've just done 3 flights, day and night in this 24 hours, and I've had no problem with the stuttering on landing, this thread might be useful to others if they have a similar problem, I will test further by flying and if the problem occurs again I will write, it is very important to clean the FXO and Metashaders2 folders from time to time regardless of whether there was an update or not,i did that too..
