Double Dutch Posted January 10, 2024 Posted January 10, 2024 Hello, I have been picking up DCS again since I moved houses and I have an issue with my track IR, I have a profile called DCS 1, in which I have it set for the game but also so I can use a button on a controller to center Track IR. When I open TrackIR and select my profile, I go into the game and center does not work. When I close DCS I see that my TrackIR is in Default settings. How can I fix that? ----- Don't practise till you got it right. Practise till you don't do it wrong
DD_Friar Posted January 10, 2024 Posted January 10, 2024 Does the button you have mapped for centre work within TrackIR? Are you using the head view in TrackIR to show the representation of your head? Have you tried making the profile "exclusive"? Are you using the hat or the clip? Is TrackIR in the matching mode? 1 Visit the Dangerdogz at www.dangerdogz.com. Hi, - Yes - No - Not yet - pro clip, yes I also saw somewhere that I have to attach black shark (not DCS: A10) to the profile as well (besides making it exclusive), with try all variants. Trigati Posted January 10, 2024 Posted January 10, 2024 It might be set in Track IR software to load default profile when DCS runs.Go to the titles tab in TIR and scroll down to check/change it.Other option, I think, is to click the Exclusive box next to where you select the profile which means it will only use that profile and not switch based on which game is runningSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1

DD_Friar Posted January 10, 2024 Posted January 10, 2024 I use trackir and do not use a pre loaded game profile. I just use one of my own, which is set to exclusive. 1 Visit the Dangerdogz at www.dangerdogz.com. scommander2 Posted January 11, 2024 Posted January 11, 2024 Is the latest version of the TrackIR software? 5 hours ago, Double Dutch said: When I open TrackIR and select my profile It seems the TrackIR software finds the profile?! Lange_666 Posted January 11, 2024 Posted January 11, 2024 Setting the profile you want to exclusive makes sure that the TrackIR software does not load a profile depending on a pre-loaded profile which the software selects from it's own game list. 1 Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. DD_Friar Posted January 11, 2024 Posted January 11, 2024 (edited) do you not have this (see attached)? Obviously "combat flight" is my own profile... scommander2 Posted January 11, 2024 Posted January 11, 2024 (edited) Yes, I do have "Exclusive" to be checked also for staying the same profile that I set. A good point...
