apelsin44ek Posted January 11, 2024 Posted January 11, 2024 Here is the case: after playing in VR for some time (less than an hour) I am starting to experience rythmical stuttering for 1 second every 5 seconds. This issue appears both in multiplayer and singleplayer. What I have tried: 1) disable hot plug - no difference 2) DCS is set to excluison of the firewall - no difference Right now the main suspects are track files which are written for every multiplayer session. Also, sometimes stuttering appears after changing the aircraft. Have somebody met the same issue? Specs: Pico 4 via VD, Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 4080, 32 Gb DDR4, wi-fi 6 router, mt preview 2.9.2.49940. FPS is very high (mainly 60-70), OXRTK shows CPU bound when stuttering appears. Need help - this is hell.
Biggus Posted January 12, 2024 Posted January 12, 2024 Tacview is quite a stutter-generator for my system, which is also a 5800X. Might be something to look at.
StoOopiD Posted January 30, 2024 Posted January 30, 2024 try running the maxfps slider all the way to 300. I found out trying to cap the frames with this makes stuttering [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Crosshair VIII hero wifi, 3800x w/ Enermax 360 AIO cooler (push-pull), 32gigs DDR4 Ripjaws 3600, Win 10 home on a Plextor PCI-E x4 3gb/s HD, EVGA 2070 Super FTW3 ultra+, Soundblaster Z Rift S, M$FFB2, CH Pro throttle, Saitek pedals BS2, A10C, P51D, SPITFIRE, FC3, Uh-1H, F86, Mi-8MTV2, SA342, MIG21-bis, AV8BNA, F14, F16, FA-18C, SUPERCARRIER

WipeUout Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 Sound like something is filling up over time. Did you tried various setting for the terrain preload slider? Also consider checking if your GPU is in MSI mode. You may want to check also if you have the same issues with any of the texture settings. Also, where is your DCS installed? having DCS on a separate M2 drive from your Windows could help. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 9800X3D, RTX 4090, 96GB DDR 5, MSI Tomahawk 870E, Crucial 2TB x 2, TM WARTHOG COMBO + PENDULAR RUDDER PEDALS, THE AMAZING PIMAX 8K X, Sony 5.1 Spks+SubW | DCS, A-10C_II, AH-64D, F-14/15E/16/18, F-86F, AV-8B, M-2000C, SA342, Huey, Spitfire, FC3.
Steel Jaw Posted February 3, 2024 Posted February 3, 2024 Disabling ASW in OTT and using turbo in open xr fixed that for me.
