Do you run an Overclocked graphics card? If so, it might be worth reducing the overclock a bit

Looking at the 0x887A0006 error in your DCS log it could be this, or you have a corrupt install (but I am assuming you have run DCS repair)

Windows 11 Home ¦ Z790 AORUS Elite AX motherboard ¦ i7-13700K ¦ 64GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 memory @ 5600MHz ¦ Samsung 990 Pro 1TB SSD for OS, Samsung 980 Pro 2TB SSD for DCS ¦ MSI GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming X Trio 24GB ¦ Virpil WarBRD base with VFX grip, Thrustmaster A10c and F/A-18 grips ¦ VKB Gunfighter Mk4 and MCG Pro ¦ Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle ¦ VKB STECS Throttle ¦ Virpil TCS rotor base with Shark and AH-64D  grips ¦ MFG Crosswinds ¦ Total Controls Multi-Function Button Box ¦ Pimax Crystal

so rename options.lua and then delete Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Khronos\OpenXR\1\ApiLayers\Implicit?

I'm not the best with this stuff so, just want to make sure before I do something stupid...lol

C:\Program Files\OpenXR-Toolkit\XR_APILAYER_MBUCCHIA_toolkit.json

won't this delete openxr toolkit from dcs though?

I will try it, just confused lol

So far this is the longest I have played after deleting the registry key without a crash. Looks like it worked!

Thank you!!

The only thing I used the toolkit for was the shaders and color adjustment. Not necessary but, was nice

Noticing technicolor 3 is also causing micro stutters. Don't think it is causing my crashes but very noticeable when switching color grading off.

I was doing great until now, when I hit the ground it crashed this time. This is what I had for logs. How do you know what error to look at?

dcs.log dcs.log.old

no zip file

Taz1004_UI_TextSize

this is the culprit. Only crashes when it is active.
