I know it's asking a lot, but since the stop following command bug seems is not gonna go away for some time, would you consider building some safety triggers in your campaigns? (like i.e. in ground pounders kerman campaign). Something like if it doesn't work for 5 minutes then despawn and respown or just proceed with the mission or some f10 options). I realize it would probably take a lot of work but your campaigns have been unplayable for more than a year now for some of us.

Just to be clear I have no mods, the bug happens 100% of the times both in MT and normal version. Tried also several times with a slow repair.

Hey. It is not possible, since in the first place I am not able to reproduce this bug so don't even know where to start. And building safeguards into my campaigns, which have several hundred of triggers (or well over a thousand) in each mission would just not be humanly doable. I am just hoping that ED, who acknowledged the problem, will be able to find a fix....

I totally feel your pain, but if we had to update every mission with workarounds for the 'bug of the day' (year) that alone would be a fulltime job. Both campaign makers and players MUST be able to rely on ED to fix such showstopping core bugs, and fix them quickly. Sadly, this one recently celebrated its first birthday.
