Hi,

I have a strange problem with the SHKVAL laser. I'm in hover mode, shooting some unarmed targets and after a few shots, the SHKVAL goes totally crazy. It moves permanently up and down and left and right.

When I center the cam it moves back to center but subsequently it moves up or down or wherever again - like it's chasing ghosts or flies.

Automatic turn on target is on and pointing/clicking with the HMS or the SHKVAL on a target won't stop that dancing cam/laser. Rebooting the SHKVAL, ABRIS and INU won't help, too. When the systems are back online the cam goes wild again.

Any idea, what's goinig on and how to fix it?

Jay

I would suspect that you might have broken the seeker through violating cool-down times.

Either that or you have stumbled into a bug - I think there was a similar bug that ED is aware of and that would cause something like that, that will be fixed in the coming patch. I'm not entirely certain if that's the one though.

I've seen it go crazy once or twice when using "ground moving target" and "auto turn to target" at the same time, when the target moves out of the scan azimuth (perhaps because of too much rudder input from pilot :) )

A quick reset, and re-allocate, and re stage the Autohover takes care of it..

yes seen this to but you might want to check your control settings and ensure you dont have double inputs like when you first start up the game, and the default settings every thing is messed up.
