Control Measure Autoload did not react on "Late Activation" Flag from Mission Editor

While loading Control Measures to the AH-64D at the helicopter spawn, the system is not reacting to the "late activation" flag used in the mission editor, that leads to the situation, that even hidden/ not yet present units can be found by their coordinates via Controll Measures.

This leads to a non immersive situation where the AH-64 pilot know like god from where to expect enemys. Although it leads in big missions to an overload of CMs in the AH64, when alle late activation units were loaded at the spawn of the heli.

If you don't want any pre-activated item to appear in your TSD, you will need to add the option "Hidden on MFD" in the Mission Editor. These are not "detections", they act like "pre-briefed" items.

Yeah I know how to handle this so that it works under optimal cicumstances.

But it's also a fact, that "hidden on MFD" has another function than "late activation" what about late activated units, that need to be displayed on the MFDs? How would that work? 😃

One doesn't affect the other.

I may want my Intel to show that a unit "may" be there, showing its general location on the MFD, but not necessarily there. So I'll use Late Activation or even a randomized (flagged) condition. It's "reported" there but maybe it's not or just come later.

I can also want it hidden, maybe like it's an unforeseen unit, surprising me. In that case, I'll add it already active or pick the same late activation or a randomized event but remove it from the MFD.

You can also hide items from the map itself, even the Mission Editor to make things even less evident. These are all options that mission makers find very useful, especially for Campaigns.

Like an Intel briefing where the spooks tell you where to expect possible enemy and you enter those positions to the things on the MDC, so they show as a control measure on the TSD.

CMs are a briefed static view of the suspected situation on the battlefield, not a real time satellite surveillance. 😉

Great that you tell me what is working, when I ask for something that is not working 😄

As said, I'm very familar with the possibilities what I can do and how. What I can't do at the moment is setting up an upcoming enemy, that is only listed as CM when it pops up from late activation.

But statement was clear, it's not a bug, it's a feature. I don't have to like this answer to accept it.
