McVittees Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 Okay, after a hour or so this is beggining to frustrate me. Want I want to do is create four map points which will be loaded into ABRIS when my mission starts. From the manual I undertand I must use 'prepare mission', add my addititonal info, save it (as per 3-24 of the manual), exit mission and then save in the mission editor. Ok. However, when I fly the mission the map points do not appear. I have the correct folders in my mission file when I extract it (the addional, route and navigation and routes .lua's) I then went into the mission editor and prepare mission again, go to Plan, loaded my route, but the one thing I changed (the additional data) is not there! As far as I can see the procedure for saving is very simple, but I must be doing something wrong! Create points, go to DTB, onboatd storage, highligh additional info and press SAVE FSK. What am i doing wrong??? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "Great minds think alike; idiots seldom differ.":pilotfly: i5 3750K@4.3Ghz, MSI Z77A GD55, 8GB DDR3, Palit GTX 670, 24" Benq@1920*1080, X52 Pro, Win 7 64bit.
Esac_mirmidon Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 I think the option you are searching for is " SAVE ROUTE ", not save additional info. In additional info you can store fix points, ref points, names, coloured lines and info like that. If you want to save waypoints and routes you must use the option " save route ". But i am not sure 100% " You must think in russian.." JG14_Smil Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 if you follow the flight manual step by step (I had it on multiple monitors as I worked), it will work. I had to watch the steps closely, I remember that much. You still don't really give enough info to pinpoint the problem. After you save the flightplan (and I highlight and save all otions in the ABRIS when doing so), are you Unloading and Loading and activating the new flightplan when flying the mission? Or do you just not see the saved flightplan?
McVittees Posted April 7, 2009 Author Posted April 7, 2009 Thanks for the replies guys. I need go back and get screen shots of what I'm doing. Hopefully once I post them you can tell me what I'm doing wrong. MadTommy Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 I used this.. got it working for me.. Adding additional information is actualy quite easy. 1. Start "Prepare Mission" 2. Add the info you want in the ABRIS (MENU>PLAN>ADD INF) 3. Save the information (MENU>CONTROL>DTB>SAVE; then select ADDITIONAL INFO with the arrows and press SAVE). 4. Exit the mission 5.
