Dejmos Posted February 5, 2024 Posted February 5, 2024 Sterpoints change position. Everything is fine on HDS, but when you turn your head towards the starpoint it is in a different place. During the first attack on the target, everything was fine, but during the second attempt, the diamond indicating the starpoint is in a different place than before. This is what happens during the Island Style mission. Try different weapons and attacks on this mission. I'm training. Bombs won't go off at CCIP. Markpoints - you can't switch between them. I edited one and wanted the next one and it was impossible to switch. Mission Editor freezes the game or exits to the desktop. The game crashes sometimes. Reports sent. I have no luck with DCS.
buceador Posted February 5, 2024 Posted February 5, 2024 It is much easier to diagnose any potential problem if you supply the associated .trk file - I realise that if you experience a CTD the you have no track file.

But if you want help here on the forum we will need to see the DCS log from the session or the zip folder created after the crash. You can attach it here if you wish to. Dejmos Posted February 6, 2024 Author Posted February 6, 2024 I watched a tutorial on how to make markpoints. And nowhere have I seen anyone manually enter the markpoint coordinates. And that's exactly what I did during the flight. I entered the coordinates of the target to be destroyed to make it easier for me to find it. I wanted this to be my mark point. And I noticed these markpoint inconsistencies right after manually entering a markpoint or two. I think I'm doing something wrong.

It is by default on your c drive, Hit at the same time Win+R and copy-paste this: %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\DCS\Logs Enter - OK and you will see Log files in the folder. the name of the DCS folder in the user profile depends on the version: DCS, DCS.openbeta Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Dejmos Posted February 6, 2024 Author Posted February 6, 2024 (edited) NO. I don't have any unofficial mods. Besides, I reinstalled dcs to another disk and it still doesn't crash. Only now, when I wanted to leave and finish the mission, it froze and did not respond. Edited February 6, 2024 by Dejmos
Dejmos Posted February 6, 2024 Author Posted February 6, 2024 This Buckup folder is empty. Now I have open beta installed. How I had dcs multithreading. It was dcs repair. Now I don't have it.

ED Team BIGNEWY Posted February 6, 2024 ED Team Posted February 6, 2024 Hi, if you go to your windows start menu and programs you should find an eagle dynamics folder and a dcs folder which will have a repair shortcut double click the short cut and it will run a repair Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
