Mission 12 PACO just circles the boat

HI, I am getting an issue where PACO just circles the boat overhead and does not come to heading....

so the issue seems to be that VAICOM uses the radio menu for salute and not the "Button" SHIFT-U I had a completely different dialogue and I am just joining up with PACO and he is taking the appropriate heading...

It's weird that the shift+U solves the problem because PAco's trigger has nothing to do with how you salute. I'm suspecting VAICOM itself is the issue, which is known to make DCS miss triggers sometimes.
