DCS w/ Tacview and SRS running, Both Monitors go black randomly...

Enjoying DCS very much.  I just added Tacview and also SRS (I have not gotten a headset yet).

Today while both playing solo and on an online server, I noted that both screens ( second monitor being used for other aps, TrackIR status, etc) would go black for about 2 to 3 seconds.  I did a google search and also searched here.

I am running Windows 11, Asus 4070ti, m.2 SSD's, Ryzen 5, 4k Monitor, 128 GIG RAM, etc.....

I have the max resolution set.  This never happened when playing DCS until today when I installed both Tacview and SRS, so I am not sure which is the culprit.  I did get Tacview working and could review missions although I am not sure it is recording the entire mission time, a different thread for sure (I briefly read that you have to wait some time before leaving a server for it to save?).

Any thoughts?

hello. i have two monitors. one wide screen for DCS and the other for whatever (like in your case). i do not have this issue you are having.

what windows power settings profile are you using?

post your latest dcs.log too. it may have some clues.

Thank you.  I updated my drivers for the video and it has not happened again.  The new driver version is only ? month newer?  Odd......

I first suspected the power settings, they have been set for max performance. I like to run full power...LOL....windows will switch refresh rate to 'save energy' and that could have been the culprit. Never know for sure.

So what ever it was has stopped being a bugger.

This sim is so great though......learning curve is huge.

Thanks for you input.
