Aoi Kaze Posted February 13, 2024 Posted February 13, 2024 (edited) Hi all. Been learning how to fly the f-15E for a short time, always in solo missions... until today, and I simply cannot communicate with my wingman (AI). Radios are on, everything works fine, I communicate with the ATC, AWACS, TANKER, basically with everybody except my wingman. Of course, I am in the right frequency, but I tried it all. I started to think it was a problem with the mission so: I changed the radio frequency of the group --> FAIL I deleted the wingman and added a new one --> FAIL I edited the advanced waypoints and deleted the "response to radio" NONE. --> FAIL I changed the plane for another module, communication with my wingman was ok. Changed it back to an F-15E -->FAIL I created another mission (the one I was playing was not mine) --> FAIL (I couldn't communicate either) Chacked on the manual, watched every video, searched everywhere --> FAIL (no one seems to have the same problem) So, I don't know what else to do. So am I stupid? Am I doing something wrong? All the other AI's are answering me, it only happens with the F-15E, and it's not a mission bug. Can any of you help me? Thanks in advance. Raven (Elysian Angel) Posted February 13, 2024 Posted February 13, 2024 Is the MIC switch turned on? Did you select the proper radio channels by pressing both GREC C/M switches (if not you're broadcasting on the Guard channel by default)? Make sure the asterisks for both R1 and R2 are next to PB5 and PB6 (where the manual frequencies are). 2 Spoiler Ryzen 7 9800X3D | 96GB G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo DDR5-6000 | Asus ProArt RTX 4080 Super | ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E GAMING | Samsung 990Pro 2TB + 990Pro 4TB NMVe | VR: Varjo Aero VPC MT-50CM2 grip on VPForce Rhino with Z-curve extension | VPC CM3 throttle | VPC CP2 + 3 | FSSB R3L | VPC Rotor TCS Plus base with SharKa-50 grip | Everything mounted on Monstertech MFC-1 | VPC R1-Falcon pedals with damper | Pro Flight Trainer Puma OpenXR | PD 1.0 | 100% render resolution | DCS graphics settings Win11 Pro 24H2 - VBS/HAGS/Game Mode ON

Do you use proper radio buttons to make a call - PTT - MIC#1/2? Check the first line in the comms menu and asterisk when transmitting on UFC, next to the radio you want to use. Check AM/FM setting in the mission and on your radio - you might have to use MAN AM/FM in the radio submenu. 1 Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria

I CAN hear him! He tells me he is rolling, wheeling up, reconnecting... he just doesn't reply. In different missions! 1
quailman84 Posted February 13, 2024 Posted February 13, 2024 I had this issue, at least it sounds like the exact same issue. Switching from FM to AM fixed it. Radios appear to default to FM and you just need to switch it. 2 1
