Here we can make a comparison about real cold war avionic and what we get from a Mig-29A early 80s version. Also, we will get a good picture how to adapt the weaponry and systems of current DCS modules to adapt Mig-29A opponents into a cold war scenery.

Yes, the Block 10 Viper is high on the wishlist for many Cold War fans, especially now that we're getting a MiG-29. There's a number of threads on that already. Although I'm not saying I'm not among those who want it, the old Viper was a really fun dogfighting jet.

Yep!
F-16A (and a two seat B) Block 10 is the version I've wanted in DCS for a long time, would buy it.

I do have the F-16C module but, as good as that is (now), I rarely use it. I much, much prefer my "old" favorite F-14A/B.
I feel the F-16C, like other NATO modules in DCS, it's just a bit too modern and way too much "computer gadgetry" for me.

The old debate of CW era, "analogue vs digital" preferences and quirkiness liking, I guess.

Yes. F-15A or F-16A would be great. F-15A was significantly earlier even compared to the first MiG-29. In mid 1970s F-15A were already fully operational and in numbers in Europe. F-15C were operational in Europe in 1979, also years before the MiG-29. In 1985 F-15C MSIP II became operational, with standard we ~have in DCS: TWS radar mode, NCTR IFF, MFD weapon control, new central computer etc.
